The Pillars of Educational Leadership
Established on July 9, 2024, the Academic Council of MIT Vishwaprayag University represents a cornerstone of academic excellence and governance. Formed under Section 23 of the MIT Vishwaprayag University Act, 2023 (Maharashtra Act No. XXXVIII of 2023) and Section 21.1 of the university’s first statutes, the council aligns with the Maharashtra Private University (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2023.
Chaired by the Vice Chancellor, the council brings together a distinguished group of experts from diverse fields, encompassing academia, research, and industry. The current Academic Council is honoured to include esteemed external members renowned for their contributions across domains.
